Here's a tune tune off the next CD called "Topanga"... it isn't finished and may be an instrumental. |
||
|
A tune that did not make it on the last CD, it's a minor Jazz/Blues tribute to Wes Montgomery. Strat-->Echoplex-->Choralflange-->split to 2 Fender Vibroverbs. Lead is DistortionPro through same amps. |

A basic track with Vocals (added 3/11/00) tune using a '61 strat/ Neck PU-->FD2--> stereo Deja'Vibe--> '68 Plexi Marshall 50 watt (left) and a '60 Vox AC15 (right). |

Vocals added by Dave Robinette! Still to come: Guitar solo, slide, Les Paul, Backing vocals . |

This is the piano break from "Layla" done with a 1957 strat/bridge PU-->TTE -->1965 Princeton Reverb-->2x12 20watt vintage Celestion cab mic'd with a Royer 121 Ribbon. |

A very Gospel tune, which will have drums, Bass, organ, and lots of Background vocals. Dave Robinette and I just wrote and recorded this, it's dedicated to the late Jason Moore, son of Jimmy and Cynthia Crespo. |

This is the version I should have put on the CD, the extra Bridge section and verse before the solo. I'll probably use this version when I remaster "Days" for the next batch of 5000 CD's. |

'61Strat/Bridge PU --> Deja2 ---> Prototype DistortionPro ---> 100 watt Plexi Marshall 1/2 stack. Recorded live 11/98 in Tokyo. |

Here's part of a track from my next CD that's a tribute to a certain guitarist. '65 Olympic White Stratocaster--->FD2--->Echoplex--->'65 Deluxe Reverb amp mic'd with a '60's Neumann U67. Clavinet (thru FD2 and Clyde wah) courtesy of Ed Roth, Drums are Jay Douglas, and Bass is the unusually unkempt Billy Sasser. |

"Another Time" a new tune...just Guitar, Vocals, and drums so far that's very much influenced by Robin Trower meets Jack Bruce. It's all ruff-track at this point subject to change, but has an interesting vibe so far. A fine example of dinosaur-rock in progress. |

A fast 16 bar minor Blues Shuffle that Robben Ford used to perform. A blast to play live, this cut was recorded at my studio in 1995 with Chas Mclure on drums. It's a '59 Maple board strat--> Fulldrive2-->SuperReverb and a Deluxe Reverb powering a Leslie16 spinning speaker. The dirty parts are strat-->'69pedal-->100watt Plexi Marshall. |
