OCDOCD Changes/Mods The OCD has gone through a few changes over the last couple of years with around 10,000 pedals sold. Consequently we have seen much MIS -information regarding these changes on the online Forums, so I would like to set things straight. There are 3 Versions (see pdf document below) of the OCD, not 2 as you have heard, click here for the pdf explaining all the changes AND the serial number that tells what version OCD you have. Original V1 owners: V1 pedal PCB's are covered in a lot of epoxy so may be impossible to mod without damaging the traces or components. The PCB may be very difficult to remove from the metal housing as well...DO NOT ATTEMPT this unless you are an expert DIY guy. If you are the original owner of a V1 and can prove it, I will replace the entire PCB free of charge. (see restrictions below) The following process must be followed by all V1 owners, NO exceptions: 1) remove the entire PCB from your OCD (we do not perform these mods, we do not coach, assist, or repair botched attempts at this procedure) DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS unless you are pro. You can hire ToneMan (Don Butler) to help you, he is reasonable and knowledgeable. 2) send the entire PCB to use along with a copy of the original sales receipt....You must be the original owner and provide a scan or fax proving that you bought the pedal new from an authorized Fulltone Dealer. 3) include the pdf RA form here completely filled out. 4) if you are outside the US, include a money order for $20 USD ==================================================== The following instructions must be followed by all original owners of V2 OCDs (if you bought your OCD used, you will not receive parts or PCB, free or not) wishing to receive free parts to update their pedals: 1) fill out the pdf RA form 2) email me the RA form along with a scan of a receipt proving you are the original owner of a V2 OCD bought from an authorized dealer and I will send all the necessary parts free of charge. If you do not have this info, you will not receive any free parts. Note: giving or selling parts, dealing with all the emails and details of accommodating owners of old OCD's is not something I am morally or legally bound to do and is a HUGE money loser when you are trying to sustain a large shop. This is something I have offered as a gesture of good-will ONLY to original owners of my products therefore this offer only extends to original owners of my products... ========================================================= To non- original owners of V2 OCD's (with not much goop inside) ONLY: I have decided to offer an upgrade kit consisting of: 1 x 1 Meg Audio taper "Distortion" pot, 1 x 10KB taper "Tone" pot, and one .047 capacitor. for $15 shipped (US Only) as long as the requests are friendly and as long as I am not inundated with requests to a point where it costs me, at which point I will cease doing so.
